This sequence follows the cyclists at the point where movement becomes resistance. The race is no longer seen as smooth speed, but as pressure passing through bodies: bent backs, clenched mouths, tightened arms, breath held inside rhythm, faces marked by effort, riders forced close to one another by the road’s demand. Each cyclist remains part of the moving group, yet each suffers the climb alone. What appears is the fragile instant in which endurance becomes visible, and the body continues because stopping has not yet been allowed.
