Terra

Terra is where the earth shows itself as matter in transformation. Ash, rock, water, fog, sediment, and cultivated ground appear here as substrate under pressure, shaped by forces whose scale and temporality exceed the human. What emerges is a field of persistence and reconfiguration: eruption, erosion, exposure, the continual reworking of surface and depth. Human figures appear only intermittently, absorbed into material processes they do not master. These photographs stay close to matter as it endures, shifts, and refuses to settle into stillness.
