Erosion
Erosion attends to the meeting of water and land as a prolonged relation of contact and change. The setting changes, yet the relation remains structural: from the Mediterranean Sea to the coastal landscapes of Britain, the visible world appears under the sign of gradual transformation, as waves, tide, and moisture wear at surfaces and unsettle their apparent fixity. What emerges is a landscape shaped by both rupture and persistence, its form repeatedly revised by the movement of water.
