Suspension

Suspension follows the landscape at the point where mountain form begins to loosen into sky and fog. In images from Northern China and Enna, the earth remains present, yet never entirely fixed, as mist, distance, and light reduce the visible world to a more fragile order of appearance. The result is a landscape no longer grounded in full solidity, held in a delicate balance between exposure and disappearance.
