Traces

Traces follows the afterlife of form. In these images, built space appears as a surface on which dwelling, labour, neglect, commerce, memory, and improvisation leave residues that persist beyond their original function. The city is thus shown as something never fully present to itself: always layered, always revised, always carrying fragments of human passage that remain when use has thinned and meaning has partly withdrawn.
