Nearness

Nearness is something that takes shape gradually. It can emerge through care, companionship, shared attention, or the simple fact of remaining beside one another for a while. At the same time, it may become fragile, distracted, or displaced, passing through devices, gestures, performances, and the surfaces through which people meet without fully reaching one another.
