Presences
At times a figure gathers the world around itself. A gesture, a pause, a way of standing in the light, and something briefly settles: a human presence becomes denser, more exact, more difficult to pass over. The images gathered here remain with such moments. They follow figures that seem, for an instant, to withdraw from the flow of things even while still inhabiting it, carrying within themselves a small and self-contained gravity.
